how we work

A personal, cohesive approach that is greater than the sum of its parts

an introduction

In our careful approach, your well-being comes first

Through a comprehensive intake with an experienced Psychiatrist or Clinical Psychologist, we jointly draw up an individualized treatment plan, with recognizable and achievable goals.

Throughout the process, you will receive intensive guidance from a dedicated team consisting of psychologists, psychiatrists, psychomotor therapists, art therapists, mindfulness trainer, dietician, social worker and job coach, who work together so that no aspect is overlooked. We maintain close contact with each other. Goedebuur offers the opportunity to participate in mindfulness, ACT or running groups, which not only promotes the relief of your symptoms but also strengthens your personal identity.

Whether you apply directly to Goedebuur or are referred, there is always a personal contact to clearly explain what the treatment entails and to assess whether the approach suits your problems. Goedebuur mainly offers specialized mental healthcare (SGGZ), but also has the capacity to treat people for a basic mental healthcare treatment (BGGZ).

How do we work at Goedebuur?

Extensive Intake

Before your intake, we ask you to complete an online questionnaire and a goals form. We believe that thinking about what you want to achieve is an important step towards recovery and joy. If other information is important for a careful intake, we will work with you to get it to the coordinating practitioner on time. They can then start the intake with you well prepared.

Intensive Cooperation

Our treatment is intensive and requires time and energy. In a week you can have multiple appointments and these can be planned on different days. This has to do with the intensity of the different sessions but also with your and our agenda. We are very flexible and always try to make our program fit in as well as possible with your complaints, agenda and other activities. Therapy can sometimes be a challenge to fit into your life. In all cases we provide customized solutions and take your circumstances into account.

The team and you work very closely together. Together we work on your goals. There are regular consultations about your progress in the team. The treatment coordinator is closely involved in the treatment and will see you once or more during the treatment if desired. If we want, we will adjust goals together or change the approach. You always conclude with an evaluation with the treatment coordinator. We find it very important to hear your opinion and ideas about the treatment and to include them in the continuous improvement of our approach.

Good careful coordination

In consultation and with your permission, we ensure that your referrer is well informed about the start, progress and results of the treatment. Information from previous treatments can also help to understand what we are going to work on. Together we look at what we need to take the best possible care of you during and after your treatment.

Therapies

Goedebuur ensures that you are treated by a professional and expert team. In the treatment, the therapies that best match your complaints and the achievement of your treatment goals are chosen. The basis of the treatment is evidence-based.

This can be cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), schema therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) or running therapy. In the treatments we also use occupational therapies such as psychomotor therapy and art therapy.

Online therapy can be part of our treatment

Online therapy, called blended care, can be part of your treatment. You follow one or more online modules between your appointments, allowing you to pay more attention to your complaints and goals. Appointments can also be scheduled online.
